THE 2008 AWARD WINNING VINEYARD & OLIVE GROVE
The 7.5+/- acre vineyard has room for expansion and is under an 'evergreen' management contract.  It has been described by a local winemaker as "a wonderful winemakers toolbox".  There are five Pinot Noir clones: Swan, Switzerland clone 23, Martini,  Pommard and Roederer (as in Louis Roederer Christal). Rootstock is Dijon.  The vineyard is irrigated.  The Henze Estate 2006 Reserve Pinot is produced under the Hook & Ladder label and won Gold/Best of class against 1000 other entries in the 2008 Harvest Fair. Neighboring vineyards are Kistler, Sonoma Cutrer, Joseph Swan.  

The olive grove consists of 120+/- young Tuscan oil producing trees with 3 Italian varieties including Frantorio & Pendolino. Fruit trees are also planted.  
THE ENTERTAINMENT BARN
A great deal of planning went into the property being
an ideal entertainment venue for friends and clients.
Not only is the 'Wine Country' reflected in the decor,
important amenities such as a separate wine tasting room, catering preparation room, adjoining garden, proper lighting, restroom, a substantial loft and adequate parking  show the care that went into the project.
